Exactly two weeks remains prior to the beginning of festival " Nord-Session-2003 ". For today it is the main news - the festival will begin on Thursday, on December, 11. As we also assumed in the last publication, such became possible as on December, 12, Friday, it is declared by a day off because of a holiday. About change of the schedule of festival there is a sense to tell to all friends and familiar as already there are cases when people took tickets on according to experience of the last years.
The circuit of festival has remained traditional - five hours up to "zero" occur concerts, and after "zero" five more hours of various entertaining actions among which appear not only performances MC and DJ, but also traditional "jam", and also will show the statements theatrical collectives. Already it is precisely known, that the last will arrive to Kostomuksha three. It is already former collective at the last festival from Petrozavodsk from « the Red cross », theatre of an original genre from Peter and also already mentioned in the last material, a command on body - art from the city of Sortavala.
Geography and groups of festival
Moscow, Peter, Murmansk, Minsk, Kirishi, Finland and cities of Karelia is though while and not full, but already serious list showing, that organizers of festival have managed to keep a high level of action. In total there is a work under the invitation about 30 commands. Among them is as well as rather young musicians, and quite professional commands{teams}. Among the last - not obscure in Russia "Gorillaz", Finnish "Charisma", group " December ". One more innovation of organizers is an increase in time of performance of some commands since traditional 30 minutes up to one hour. So serious groups will have an opportunity to give a sound strong concert.
As well as it was supposed, the rock music of Kostomuksha this year seriously "prosat" and will be submitted only by three commands - « Kindom of God », “ Gray Stone ” and "Bedlam". Especially surprising or new here to wait does not cost, more likely: « Kings divine » on the past days off have shown the new program, "Bedlam" also recently acted. Unless « the Grey stone » receives an opportunity to show something brand new. Also will be in general mournfully if young musicians will not take advantage of this opportunity or realize her{it} not in full.

Organizers persistently ask to pay attention to age as festival - action night its organizers consider, that parents necessarily should know where there are their children. The matter is that at festival age restrictions will be entered: the spectators appearing more youngly of 16 years, or being actually those, can receive problems on an input. To get on festival without difficulties, such people should have at themselves or the document certifying the person, or a note from parents with the instruction{indication} of phone. Organizers of festival any more do not bring an attention to the question on, whether the festival will take place. Eleventh festival " Nord-session " should take place in the middle of December under all plans and schedules in Kostomuksha. His{its} organizers in general tell about the future action.
Hot new festival
Among the applications which have acted{arrived} on the eleventh festival it is necessary to note Vadim Kuryleva. It{he} is one of masters of the Russian fate, friend Jury Shevchuka, the participant of creation of group " ДДТ ", 16 years which have won back in it{her}. Are now negotiated with Vadim's new collective. Expressed desire to arrive group which during four years received a prize of spectator sympathies, that is visitors of festival wanted to see her{it} more and more time - group " Barracuda " of Tver. Now they are known in Germany with one interesting project. Also there is a sense to show a command now when old fans have grown, and new to check up. Group "ManiTu " - the dynamical, quickly developing command, which songs prepare for rotation on MTV, and tickets on concerts already pass the price list in one and a half thousand roubles. Now serious producers have paid attention to it, there is a big work - in general, all speaks that there can be in the near future a splash after which we any more shall not see this group. In a history "North - session" already there was a weight of such histories, latest of which is a group " the Feed bag on more abruptly ". On January, 5, 2001 this command acted in local club, and after two years she became known in the Russian scales.
Transformation
Last years there is a transformation of festival from the event, devoted rock musics in the event showing various displays of youth culture. First of all is a theatre. The last year three collectives Finnish "Banana - theatre", theatre - show "Mask" and movement of " the Red cross " were noted is. This year too there are offers - art - group " Liceum ", generation of known theatrical collective " Actors " and theatre " Cellar". Completely exclusive, probably, for the first time representation can take place in Kostomuksha, on colouring body-art. In Karelia there is a unique professional studio which is in Sortavala. With the big interest in Finland to this concern, we negotiate, that and at us all this have shown. Many represent the body-art as ornamented naked people. Absolutely unessentially it so. Probably, it is any, we shall tell so, a decent part of a body - the person, a hand, a leg{foot}. It creates an atmosphere of a holiday, a height. It is good, if at us such will be, then we shall declare competition on self-registration of the body.
It is pleasant, that it is a lot of applications from Finland. We count, that the collectives which have sent them, professional, and it is necessary to show them in Kostomuksha. As Finland lives on the European rhythms our musicians will have an opportunity to gather, look, take any elements for the development from creativity of Finns. The standard which will be submitted, will force to reconsider the level, and will give a creative push, growth, will bring new outlook.
On quantitative structure of groups the following already is possible to tell: organizers plan on one - two groups of Peter and Petrozavodsk. Tver, Moscow, Murmansk will be submitted by one group of each city. As the rock music in each city, different in this case it is important to invite not as much as possible commands from one city, and is as much as possible cities to present, let even one command{team}.
Unfortunately, the severe financial situation does not allow to speak now about the big opportunities of the future festival. But it does not mean, that the festival will be poor. More likely, he{it} has chance and rather big to be if not above a level of the last year to keep the certain tendency and dynamics{changes} of development. A plenty very{very much} will help wishing to arrive and act in it with the minimal expenses for organizers, having released{exempted} a part of means for the invitation of actors of a high, Russian level.
Prefestival weather
The festival "has moved" for the second week of December. Organizers consider, that there is an opportunity to start{begin} festival "warming up" already on December, 11 in the evening. And the basic actions will begin on December, 12 on Friday as this day according to a calendar is declared celebratory.
About local commands{teams}
The general financial situation developed recently, has strongly struck on fate to music of Kostomuksha. Local fate - movement approaches to the eleventh festival, not stopping to count up losses. Earlier on festival moved not less than ten applications from local commands{teams}, now organizers have counted only four working groups, but of them only two for the present{true} moment were declared to play. About other commands{teams} only uncertain hearings in style of that " somewhere there go, somebody else from them is alive and, maybe, even plays ". The reason, at my subjective sight, a similar situation one is a cessation of work " smithies of the staff of a rock music " our city, informal association of musicians of Kostomuksha - motel. The disorder of it{him} explained absence of the finance on repair, has pulled behind itself not only the termination{discontinuance} of continuous creative process, but also has put such general{common} loss to fate - movement from which it if will leave on a former level there will be it very much and very much is not fast.
Taking a case, organizers would like to put all the same points above "i" in such question, as time of performance{statement} of commands{teams} from Kostomuksha. For last years the opinion according to which organizers "clamp" local musicians at festival was generated, giving them to act when the majority of people has already parted - on Sunday. However authors of this opinion overlook, that arrival of any command{team} is connected to the train diagram of trains. And in attempt for a minimum of means to bring a maximum of groups, organizers are compelled to make the schedule of performance{statement} with the account movement of trains. Theoretically this problem is solved, but in practice its{her} decision means, that on festival can arrive much less commands. And as a whole organizers consider, that the third day - is not less interesting and various in own way. About it speaks also the quantity{amount} of visitors comparable to the last days of festival, and a pressure, passion of groups which act.
